Nine50 was founded by Lee-Ann Kelly in Sydney, Australia, 2007. 

With a dream of business ownership and a passion to see children around the world released from poverty, Lee-Ann drew on her past experience and ability to develop a business where not only she could personally make a financial difference in the fight against poverty but also advocate for those without a voice.

Nine50 Jewellery is 950/1000 parts silver (95%), which is purer than 925 Sterling Silver 925/1000 (92.5%). Our designs are made with the highest-quality materials that include semi-precious stones and polished gems sourced from many places around the world including Mexico, North America, the Amazon and the Andes. 

Our silversmiths are heirs of long traditions that date back to pre-Hispanic times so every piece of Nine50 Jewellery is handcrafted using techniques handed down over hundreds of years. 

As a member of the Fair Trade Association of Australia and New Zealand we choose to purchase products that are made in accordance with our values. We undertake extensive research (including travel) to ensure our suppliers and supply chain act in compliance with local and international laws and strive to build equitable and sustainable trading partnerships.

Nine50 is a business with a compassionate mission. We honour the value of seeking to bring justice and hope to the poor and as a company we strive to create and promote opportunities to alleviate poverty.

Nine50 participates in and advocates Child Sponsorship through Compassion Australia, directly supporting children in the suburbs of Lima, Peru. Nine50 is also committed to micro-lending to women in developing countries wanting to start or expand their own businesses through Kiva.org .
